Clemson highlights
To get you primed for Saturday…One guy you won’t see much of on here, but was a huge factor in the win over Auburn, is tight end Dwayne Allen (he does catch a TD pass at 2:15). Really impressive the way he can go up and get it.
You already know about freshman sensation Sammy Watkins (six TD catches so far), but consider that DeAndre Hopkins (No. 6) is just a sophomore, 6-foot-5, 205-pound wideout Martavis Bryant is a freshman and Tajh Boyd is a sophomore…This offense has a chance to be good for a while. Of course, before you get too nervous, remember that these are highlights put together by Clemson. Some bad things happened in that game, too.

Yeah, like a YouTube clip of Boyd’s clumsy attempt to throw away the football, only to have it tossed up, intercepted, and returned for a score. That the kind of mistake Tech is hoping he will make, and turn those turnovers into points.
AM, after watching that nine minute clip I feel even better about Tech’s chances Saturday! I don’t ever recall seeing FSU’s defense miss so many tackles….hand grabbing, jersey tackles and poor angles galore. Didn’t look anything like the defense that played against Oklahoma earlier this year for sure. If the Seminoles had played Clemson like that the game wouldn’t have even been close.
If the Hokies tackle well in space and get some long drives going to keep Clemson off the field they will win. Especially in front of a rowdy well lubed Lane Stadium crowd…glad it’s not a 1 PM kickoff so the fans have plenty of time to get it workin’. GO HOKIES!!
If thats what the Kittens bring to Blacksburg tomm. A highlight reel of gains of 5-7 yrds. Nothing there scares me. You think Boyd is going to be able to drop back like that with the nations 5th ranked defense bringing the heat. Not gonna happen. Tell that punk Boyd to bring 4 jerseys to change into because there will be so many grass stains on it you wont be able to read the numbers on it.
Someone mentioned the line has stayed the same all week……Guess they know that VA Tech will cover the 7 and I would say by 21 easy. Clemson is and will be the most over-rated team in ACC history. All that so called talent and NOTHING to show for it. They can see ACC champs banners while they watch us light up the scoreboard.
Huntersdad, 6 P.M. you`re right. Tom Brady would love that kick off time too.
Get your excuses ready NewTechFan, whether its blaming the officials, the rain, the wind or whatever. Clemson is going to deliver a beatdown saturday night!
By the way Robert I wont have to worry about this game. I’m just wondering if you’ll be around after it so I can explain to you how I have been so right about this team from the get go.
