I like ‘em. What do you think? (photo posted on Twitter by @WNST):

Hmmm… looks suspiciously like a blindfold.

Random Maryland player after the 2011 season: “Well.. at least our uniforms couldn’t get any worse”
    Coach Edsall: “Uhhhhh…guys….”

I think that’s pretty sharp. But I also enjoy seeing teams wear alternate uniforms.

Not the worst helmet I have ever seen but don’t really like it either.

One comment on the Olympics. Didn’t Russia used to field a team? They have really lost ground to the point of near irrelavance.

Hated to see the tragedy at the NASCAR race yesterday. I remember going to a race at Charlotte in the 80′s where 14 people got struck by lightning if my memory is correct. Scary stuff being out in the open in a thunder storm.

Looks like it was designed to resemble the Vikings. At least it is much better than the first helmet Maryland sported last season, the one that looks like a taxi cab ran up the barber pole and got twisted around.

Personally, just for Maryland, I actually liked the turtle pattern helmet.

    Please stop. Just, stop.

Some helmets & uniforms are iconic, some never will be. That being said, they might be popular with ‘kids these days’. I actually dislike these less than their helmets last year.

Seriously? The flag of the state of Maryland as your helmet? o.O

  9. Other John | August 6, 2012 at 4:10 pm

Looks like something I’d see inside a race car…

Probably will be over by tfhe time this post is seen but team USA women are in one of the best soccer games ever in the Olympics on the men’s or women’s side in my opinion. If you like soccer this is epic.

It looks like semaphore flag. Maybe the flag for “Ouch! I think I have a concussion.”

Looks like The Teenage Mutatant Winless Turtles

like the helmets! born in baltimore and lived in berlin germany for 12 years before coming to b-burg. still call baltimore my hometown. point is- aaron the orioles are starting to gell i think. camden yards in the fall this year at least one round i hope. locals here could care less for the orioles as a whole and i understand. pretty good for a team that has given up more runs than they have scored. 5 and a half games back. keep a truckin for that wild card.

I think the same design in a letter M would be better. Looks like an Arena Football Team, or XFL to me.
Will all the players have “He Hate Me” on their backs?

  17. Rick H. | August 7, 2012 at 8:19 am

Looks more like a race driver helmet than a football helmet.

  18. Original Greg | August 7, 2012 at 8:23 am

I kind of like them. It looks a little futuristic.

  19. Frank | August 7, 2012 at 8:29 am

    Nutty.

Did you know: He Hate Me’s younger brother was drafted this year? Florida RB Chris Rainey, fifth round to the Steelers. And…end fun fact.
