I agree with Huntersdad, the Greer kid playing for the Hoo’s is a delight to watch. I am a Hokie, but my father and sister went to U VA, so I am not a Hoo hater. I actually pull for the Hoo’s, except when they play the Hokies. I wish Frank Beamer would make the entire team watch the hustle and tenacity of the Greer kid and especially make M. Davis watch from a front row seat…he just might understand what is expected of him.

Zman, as usual, your eagerness to stalk me mars your vision of what I actually post. Which part of what I posted about Manning did you not understand? Here is what I posted…

Yeah, in your eyes, that’s just another case of me attacking Hokie football. I’ll let you shrink in embarrassment, and others look at those words and try to decipher the insult you phonily pretended I made. Maybe some day you’ll get over the fact that I desire more from Frank Beamer than just erecting an empty trophy case and letting the dust pile up on it.

As I said on Bitter’s blog, I don’t care about Manning’s legal problems. My only interest is in the ‘false identity’ thing, and then only for humor. If Manning told the cops he was Bruce Smith, I’d love to know. If he said he was Marcus Vick, I’d worry for his sanity. Other than that jovial angle, I could not care less about Manning. So you can keep on ranting about everything I post that isn’t a typed kissing of Frank’s ring, and I’ll keep on laughing about it.

Greer reminds me of Jon Copper a little. Big news out of Pittsburgh on Big Ben. It seems like that rib injury is so serious he might be out for the season from that and not his shoulder. Very rare and life threatening. Hope he comes back soon.

Glad that Baltimore had such a great season this year. But I remember all the standing room only games from the 90′s and having to pay scalpers just for the cheap seats. I hope they keep it going but they seem so intent on staying budget minded. I hope for the best because it used to be such an awesome place to go.

You have to be impressed with the Greer kid. He is absolutely all over the field, sideline to sideline. 349 tackles….is there anyone else on the Hoo’s defense making any tackles at all and how many games has he played in to make that many tackles?

Really wanted Kentucky to hand the Blue Devils their first setback of the season….I may have mentioned this before…I hate Coach K and Puke.

If Beamer dumps a talented “bad egg” what is wrong with that? Some schools would nurse him far longer. If Beamer kept him for a while and the kid gets in trouble you’d jump the Beam for that. If the answer is “Don’t buy bad eggs”, well, sometimes eggs break on the ride home.
