I was at break when I saw there was a breaking news that two people died in a shooting. By lunch time, the number was up to 17. I had the sickening feeling that it couldn’t happen, not here, and it did. It kind of changed perspective that the mountains didn’t insulate us from that kind of tragedy.

I hope the families are recovering; I know it have never been the same for them.
