Remember, Frank is down with all the latest dances. Here’s him doing the Dougie (or at least his interpretation of it) a few years ago.

UPDATE: And the reactions are pouring in:

Now in GIF form. It’s strangely hypnotic. (h/t @TheKeyPlay)

In a few months he will probably hear ” Sweet Home Alabama ” , and not want to dance to that tune. Probably none of us Hokies will feel like dancing that night.

    Get jiggy with it Frank!!!

For God’s sake, Frank, stop being a wet blanket. The video is funny, and it’s a nice reminder that one bad season isn’t the end of the world. Frank Beamer is a class guy and his players love him. Go take your Preparation-H and find another blog to troll.

    I second what Jeff says.

Love it. Past days of shagging in Myrtle Beach has paid off for Coach Beamer

I, for one, thought the first few seconds with Frank dancing is absolutely epic. It’s nice to see the coach and players having a bit of fun in the offeason.

@#1, what’s your deal? Would you be saying the same thing if a viral video leaked of Nick Saban doing the Harlem Shake? I think not. Just kick back and have a hearty laugh.

I love it! I hereby avow I am a confirmed “Frankophile” (as opposed to Francophile BTW)! There, I said it, and to paraphrase Kramer, I’m out there and I’m loving every minute of it!

Now if we can just come up with a Harlem Run Block dance this spring everything will be great.

  9. Ralph | March 11, 2013 at 1:23 pm

Hmmm… Obvious that Franks best moves were overhauling the offensive coaching staff

  10. DON | March 11, 2013 at 3:29 pm

Frank has better moves than his players.

    Good for him….good for him.

Seriously? Get a life, you idiot. I’ll bet you enjoy telling little kids there’s no Santa Claus too.

But can he do “Gangnam Style”?

VPI??? That’s what the guy in the Atlantic link calls VT. We haven’t been VPI in 40 years. What’s with these people? I think it’s a subtle dig at us. And I don’t like it. That’s bully garbage, picking on people. Someone needs to straighten this guy out.

Watch out, coach, your mind conjures up things your body can’t pay for!

Some people just can’t enjoy the moment. How would you negative nabobs like to be remembered?
