Neither Kyle Fuller (groin) nor Brandon Facyson (concussion) appeared on Virginia Tech’s injury report for Boston College on Thursday night, meaning they are good to play. Fuller played only on special teams against Duke and Facyson sat out.
They’ll join Antone Exum, who made his debut against Duke after offseason knee surgery, and Kendall Fuller in what has become a crowded Hokies secondary.
It’s unclear at this point what the playing rotation will be, although if Tech goes by experience, Kyle Fuller and Exum would start in front of the two true freshmen in a base defense. Kendall Fuller and Facyson have thrived this season, however, with a combined nine interceptions.
Kicker Mitchell Ludwig (leg) and defensive end Matt Roth (head) are out. That means Michael Branthover, who was summoned from the stands during warmups to dress out and kick last Saturday, will likely kick off for the Hokies again.
Defensive end Ken Ekanem (hamstring) and linebacker Chase Williams (hamstring), both reserves, are questionable. Backup long snapper Joe St. Germain is probable with a foot injury.
