Quarterback Logan Thomas and defensive end James Gayle were officially announced as having accepted invitations to the postseason senior showcase in Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 25 at 4 p.m.
Cornerback Kyle Fuller, who hopes to make a good impression after essentially missing the season’s final five weeks with a core muscle injury, accepted an invitation two weeks ago.
The game, which takes place after a week of practices at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, serves as a job interview for NFL hopefuls, with numerous professional scouts and player personnel in attendance.
Thomas is one of six quarterbacks invited to the game so far, joining Georgia’s Aaron Murray (injured), Miami’s Stephen Morris, Clemson’s Tajh Boyd, Fresno State’s Derek Carr and San Jose State’s David Fales.
In addition to Thomas, Gayle and Fuller, Tech linebackers Jack Tyler and Tariq Edwards will play in the College All Star Bowl in Greenville, S.C., on Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. It will be televised by the CBS Sports Network.
