The movie “Lake Effects,” currently in production at Smith Mountain Lake, is searching for a local actress to fill one just more role. Actors already cast in the movie include an ensemble of seasoned professionals such as: Jane Seymour, Scottie Thompson, Jeff Fahey, Madeline Zima, Ben Savage, Casper Van Dien, Sean Patrick Flanery, Richard Moll, Eyall Podell, Mary McDonough, Richard Riehle and Ron Canada.

Sara Elizabeth Timmins, Executive Producer for the film says the actress must look between the ages of 16 and 18, look like the main character (played by Scottie Thompson) and be able to handle a very emotional scene. Those interested must send a headshot and resume to the film’s casting department via email at casting@lifeoutloudfilms.com.

A few local characters make their acting debut in this movie including an elusive lake monster.

This film is currently in production and scheduled to end by October 31, 2010. Filming locations include Roanoke and around Smith Mountain Lake.
