Roanoke officials to provide progress report on Arts and Cultural Plan on Wednesday, Feb. 22

The City Manager and the Roanoke Arts Commission will present a celebration of, and first progress report on, implementation of the City of Roanoke’s new Arts and Cultural Plan on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Claude Moore Education Complex of the Roanoke Higher Education Center.

There will be food, live music, and progress reports from all the partners in this important effort. Also planned is a special performance by The Dorky Boys, runners up in 2011 Roanoke’s Got Talent a project of the Harrison Museum of African American Culture.
