2012 Greenbrier Classic Badges for Charity benefit Center in the Square

If you’re making plans to attend the 2012 Greenbrier Classic in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. — a PGA Tour event now in its third year — you can designate part of your admission cost to Center in the Square, which is one of this year’s beneficiaries.

Downtown Roanoke’s Center in the Square is a ticketing partner with The Greenbrier through its Badges for Charity program. The badges, on sale now through Center, range from $159 to $5,000. The event, which besides golf will feature concerts by Toby Keith, Bon Jovi and Rod Stewart with Lionel Richie, takes place July 2-8.

Center officials request that interested donors visit greenbriershopping.com, click “Badges for Charity” and designate Center in the Square as their charity of choice from the drop-down menu in the checkout process.

Other regional charities participating this year include the Alleghany Highlands Arts Council, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and The First Tee of Roanoke Valley
