Roanoke YA author Angie Smibert launches “The Forgetting Curve” at Roanoke main library Saturday

Roanoke author Angie Smibert will read from and sign copies of her new young adult novel The Forgetting Curve at noon Saturday at Roanoke’s main library branch on Jefferson Street. The novel is a sequel to her 2011 debut Memento Nora, which depicts a dystopian future in which citizens are required to take drugs that erase the memories of anything they find upsetting. The next book in the series, The Meme Plague, is scheduled to come out in Spring 2013.
