Gathering in the Galleries continues 6 p.m. Thursday at Roanoke’s Studio School

B. Scott Crawford writes on the “Gathering in the Galleries!” Facebook page:

Gathering in the Galleries is this Thursday – 6:00 PM – Studio School! Come join the discussion – we will explore the many death-related symbols found in this ca. 1656 painting by Salvator Rosa titled Human Frailty!

Founded by Crawford, a Roanoke historian, the meetings take place at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at Studio School at the corner of Brandon and Brambleton avenues in Roanoke.
