Mill Mountain Theatre calls for auditions to cast encore of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”

From my Inbox to you:

MILL MOUNTAIN THEATRE HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER

Back by Popular Demand!!!  This Mill Mountain Theatre production SOLD OUT before we opened last year and we are bringing it back for one more year!!!

This is an exciting time for Mill Mountain Theatre and this production will bridge the gap to Mill Mountain Theatre producing as a Professional Regional Theatre again in 2012 and 2013!!!

Come join us in this exciting time for Professional Theatre in the Roanoke Valley!!!

Auditions will be held Friday September 7 from 4PM-7PM and Saturday September 8 from 10AM-4PM.  Callbacks will be held Sunday October 9 from 4-6PM, if needed.

All auditions will be held on the Mill Mountain Theatre Waldron Stage located at 20 Church Street East.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER is the hilarious Christmas tale that laughingly tells of a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant.  They are then faced with casting the Herdman kids– probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem– and the fun– when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

This family-friendly play is appropriate for all audiences and is a delightful comedy that is adapted from the bestselling book and the only story ever to run twice in McCall’s Magazine.

The cast of 20 plus actors will be children and adults in the range of 6-106. The director is Ginger Poole.
