Roanoke native and successful TV/Film Actress Jen Lilley will be joining RCT this Monday! Come join her as she discusses the film business, auditioning, film acting, and how with hard work you can make your dreams come true!

Jen Lilley most recently starred as Maxie Jones on ABC’s “General Hospital.” Jen can be seen in Weinstein’s critically acclaimed feature film, The Artist, winner of 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. She can also be seen on MTV’s improvised comedy series “Disaster Date” and the new independent film Turnaround Jake – due out later this year.
Other recent projects include the films The Back-up Bride, The Olivia Experiment, The Beginning of the End, and One Small Hitch as well as television appearances on Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement, Castle, Criminal Minds and iCarly.
Born in Roanoke, Jen first started acting while attending the University of Virginia when she played the lead in an indie film called “The Loss of Life.” After that, Jen fell in love with acting and averaged six student films a semester. In addition to acting, she is also a talented singer, dancer and comedian performing in many improv casts including the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Jen is active in various charities and has provided under served children multiple concerts, garnering her the National Educators Award in Guatemala. She also supports charities that focus on protecting children against sexual abuse and building wells to provide water to those in need. She is one of the newest celebrity ambassadors for the child abuse and treatment organization Childhelp (www.childhelp.org). Jen currently lives in Los Angeles.
