Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins hosts lecture by Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech curator Margo Crutchfield

On behalf of the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins University, I kindly invite you to a lecture by Margo Crutchfield on Thursday, November 29 at 6:00 pm with a reception to follow.
Margo Crutchfield is the Curator at Large of the Virginia Tech Center for the Arts, which will open in the fall of 2013.
She will speak about the work of, and working with, exhibiting artist Beverly Semmes, whose exhibition “Starcraft” is on view at the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum.
The lecture will be held in Hollins University’s Visual Arts Center’s Frances J. Niederer Auditorium with a reception to follow at the museum.
Margo Crutchfield’s lecture is part of the exhibition programming for “Beverly Semmes: Starcraft” that is currently on view through December 8th at the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum
This exhibition is organized by the Hunter Museum of American Art, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Funding has been generously provided in part by the City of Roanoke through the Roanoke Arts Commission and by Roanoke County.
