Writers at Liminal: Migrations / Coming of Age
5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29; reception follows

Writing that marks the moments we left our own variations of home, innocence, childhood, or undiluted wonder behind. In connection with this semester’s course “Children in the Shadow of Conflict: Selected Novels and Cultural Perspectives,” taught by Les Epstein.

Readers will include:

  • Hollins professors T.J. Anderson, Amanda Cockrell and Pauline Kaldas
  • Roanoke Times/playwright Dwayne Yancey (monologue read by CHS student)
