I’m a week late, and you might have already heard about this, but thought it was worth mentioning that Publishers Lunch put together a collection of excerpts of over 2 dozen buzz-worthy books in advance of the BEA, available as a free download across several platforms: http://www.publishersmarketplace.com/bea/2012/BuzzBook.html. I haven’t read it yet but what prompted me to download it was the news that Barbara Kingsolver has a new novel coming out this fall (it’s included in this selection).

About this blog

Books editor Suzanne Wardle read cereal boxes, lists of ingredients and just about anything when she was a child, so it’s no wonder she grew up to read for a living at a newspaper. She posts reviews, news, discussion topics and musings on literature of all types. When she’s not reading, she’s out on the greenway with the dog, testing recipes in the kitchen and trying to persuade friends to watch bad monster movies with her.
