Mill Creek Baptist Church Living Water mission trip returns from Dominican Republic
The Mill Creek Baptist Church mission team members are back and the trip was a huge success, said Tommy Moore, one of the travelers to the Dominican Republic last week.
Plenty of clean water is now available to the citizens of the very impoverished Caribbean nation due to the efforts of the mission team. Moore said they made many balloon animals for the children, too. Mill Creek Baptist Church will hold a special event to show and tell the events of the mission trip Sunday night April 13 at 7 p.m. at the church.
The public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served after the service. Mill Creek Baptist Church is located on US Route 11 five miles north of Troutville. Contact the church at 992-3474 for further information.
