The reports are in– all four of the sports teams at James River High School in the regionals won last night!

Girls soccer, boys soccer, girl’s softball and boys baseball all won handily last night. Three of the four teams played on James River fields. “It was an exciting night at River.” said Beth Bell attendance officer who went to some of the games. Two of the wins were against George Wythe which has become a regional rival of the Knights.

Here were the scores from Tuesday night:

Softball: James River vs. Northwood 4-0
Baseball: James River vs George Wythe 7-3
Boys soccer: James River vs George Wythe 3-1
Girls soccer: James River vs Rural Retreat 5-2

Congratulations and keep up the good work! And if anyone has fan photos from any of these games, send ‘em to us at news@botetourtview.com and we’ll post ‘em.
