Local florists give smiles for National Smile Week
Cahoons Florist of Fincastle teamed up with Floral Expressions in Daleville to send 72 bouquets from the Blue Ridge FTD chapter to shut-ins at the Brian Center, Carrington Place and Cave Creek Adult Home. "We are specially sending these to folks who have few visitors in honor of National Smile Week." said Rita Young of Floral Expressions. Family members including children joined the pair to make the floral bouquets.
Karen Peery, Kathy McClung, Tiffany McClung, Taylor Peery, Jacob Peery, Rita Young, McKenzie Martin and Hollie Martin worked diligently to bring smiles to the elderly at three area resident facilities.
