Two from Eagle Rock take first place at Old Fiddlers Convention

Two musicians from Eagle Rock took home first place awards from the Old Fiddlers Convention in Galax Aug. 4-9.

Lee Dunbar won first in bluegrass banjo. Leslie Dunbar won first in folk song.

Congratulations to both.

A complete list of winners appears in Friday's Extra section of The Roanoke Times. Here's some video from the festival -- doesn't feature the Dunbars, but you'll enjoy it anyway.
