Lord Botetourt hosts a gigantic Band Festival this weekend Oct. 25

The Lord Botetourt Marching Cavalier Band Boosters would like to invite you to their annual band competition on Saturday, October 25th. The Classic is an invitational band competition featuring many of the areas top music programs. This year the Classic has grown to 17 bands, 16 bands in competition with an exhibition performance by the Marching Cavaliers. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, children under 6 are free. All profits from the competition go to support he Lord Botetourt Instrumental Music Program. The event starts at 2:15 with a Welcome and the National Anthem. Bands in participating in the 2008 Cavalier Classic are:

James River High School, Parry McCluer High School, Riverheads High School, Fort Chiswell High School, Floyd County High School, Liberty High School, Staunton River High School, Rustburg High School, Radford High School, Bath County High School, Glenvar High School, Patrick Henry High School, Heritage High School, Abingdon High School, Alleghany High School, Franklin County High School and Lord Botetourt High School (exhibition only).
