Mascots build spirit at the high school level
Rachel Frantz is the LBHS Cavalier
Ever wonder who the mascots are at football games and other events for our two county high schools? Two senior girls– one at James River and one at Lord Botetourt portray the Knight and Cavalier respectively.
Lauren Osborne is the Knight.
Lauren Osborne is the JRHS Knight.
Rachel Frantz is the Cavalier.
Osborne wears a full costume with a head that she must peer out of, so she is somewhat encumbered by the cuteness of the smiley Knight. Frantz wears a Cavalier costume and carries a plastic sword and dances when the band plays.
Look for them on Friday night!
