Thank you to the entire staff of Colonial for making our first year of school so wonderful! Claire loves coming to school everyday where she feels comfortable and loved by all of her teachers and the staff. I can’t say enough good about Mrs. Ketron, in particular! If you don’t know already, she is a saint!
We feel very fortunate to have her this year! Keep up the good work everyone! (And hang in there…..only 25 more school days until summer break!)

I am going to miss my son being at Colonial when he starts middle school in the fall. We love all of the teachers (and Nurse Ann, who my kids visit alot!!). Thanks so much for all you do – you make a difference. Both Emma & Brayden love you all and I commend you for teaching our kids about more than reading and writing – I love that you also aren’t afraid to keep God in your programs. That means alot!

There are not enough words to thank all of the teachers AND staff for everything they do at Colonial. I have been able to witness this for the past six years and look forward to the next four years ahead. Every year Colonial staff just keeps getting better & better! School is not merely a building to go to each day. It is a community built by those that love it and support it; parents, teachers, and our children. The communication and support that exists at Colonial is the thread that holds it all together. Our family has been so blessed to be a part of the Colonial community and we send our many thanks to the wonderul, beautiful teachers that have been a part of each child’s life. As parents, we are pulled in so many directions during our children’s most formative years. The role teachers play in providing structure and fostering self-efficacy is so vital. THANK YOU for accepting such a rewarding and challenging vocational calling!

A BIG THANK YOU to all the teachers who have had Michael. Thank you to Mrs. Perkins who gave him his start in Kindergarten. Thank you to Mrs. Anderson. He has been blessed to have you two years in a row. I commend you for taking on the same group of students for two years running. Thank you Mrs. Bychowski for having patients with Michael as you got him for the subjects he doesn’t like and I know he can be a handful. Thank you Mrs. Duiser for all the help and support you have given Michael over the years. Thank you Mrs. Crumpacker for all you do to help Michael. Michael will be leaving the Colonial Family this year and will move on to RMMS. He has been truly blessed to have such wonderful teachers and such wonderful roll models in his life. Ms. Stafford and Mrs. Hensley you have made kindergarten a GREAT experience for Madison. A Big Thank You to both of you!!!! And enough can not be said about the generosity Mrs. Crumpacker shows all of the car riders each and every day. As parents we could not ask for more. I would like to say thank you for teaching three and next year four of my children. They are eager to learn and that is a reflection of your leadership. Colonial is an excellent school and a wonderful learning environment. It is the teacher that makes that possible. I remember a saying that rings true, “it is not the cop that gives you the ticket, nor the firefighter that saves your house from being burned, but it is the teacher that taught us that we will remember.” Thank you!

All 3 of my children have loved their elementary school years thanks to all of you. To Mrs. Bryant and Mrs. Saunders – thank you for making this “the best year ever” for Sydney and Emmy. (their words) They love going to school every day and look forward to learning new things. Thank you Nurse Ann for taking such great care of my kids when they feel bad or have hurt themselves – which is quite often. Thank you all again for the many many many things that you do.

I want to thank all of the teachers who have touched my children over the years. Their time at Colonial has been very special and has prepared them well for the future. I recently asked my son who was his favorite teacher and he said that was an impossible choice because they have all been great. Thanks to Mrs. Trout and Mrs. Thomas for everything you have done this year and to all the teachers we had over the past years.
When moving here last year,I worried about how my sons would adjust to our new school and hoped that they would have teachers that would help make the change as easy as possible. If I had only known Mrs. Steger, Mrs. Wilkinson, and Miss Bryant before, I wouldn’t have worried a bit!!!
I couldn’t have asked for better “fits” for my boys. These teachers were just what they needed and they looked forward to school each day!
Thank you to Ms. Trout and Mrs. Thomas for all you have done for Chase this year!!! He has really enjoyed his fifth grade year! A huge THANK YOU to Miss Bryant for two wonderful years-oh, how Tanner will miss you!!!

Last year was my first year for my kids to be in Colonial. We were a little nervous. That went away really quick!! My children loved the school and asked why didn’t they go there sooner:)…well my my son is in fifth grade now and we are leaving soon:( How all the teachers have made a impacted on both my kids. A BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Steger, Mrs. Wilkinson, Ms. Trout, Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Bychowski!!!They mean a great deal to me and my kids. Let’s not forget Mrs. Renaud and Mrs. Wright…love them. Grant also loves Ms. Austin too, the art teacher, she has been a wonderful addition this year. Thanks to Mrs. Riggs, Mrs. Gould for being there for my kids. Bernice King, Donna Clower, and Lisa Assanet for always doing a great job in the office:)You all will surely be missed!!!
We want to thank all the teachers for their hardwork. Our daughter loves Colonial. Rachel has felt very welcome from the time she started at Colonial (in the second grade). We are looking forward to Kathryn starting in the fall.

I am so grateful for the wonderful teachers at Colonial. I especially want to thank Mrs. Bryant, who provided extra hugs and understanding as she helped my daughter’s transitition to a new school in 3rd grade. I am in debt to Mrs. Steger for giving my daughter a passion for writing and Mrs. Wilkerson for caring and being sure she wasn’t behind in Math. She’s making A’s in Math now because of all the time you spent with her last year!! Thank you Mrs. Trout for being so approachable and for relating to the kids so well. They all love you! Mrs. Thomas, you are such a wonderful role model. You have such tenacity and determination to stay faithful, even when life throws you curveballs! Thank you to Mrs. Wright for having such a passion for music, it just flows out into the students!
Lastly, I’d like to thank administration- Mrs. Riggs and Mrs. Gould for being the “Ultimate Teachers”. You are both so good at what you do! I believe a great school starts at the top!! You ladies are TOPS!!

I wanted to add another THANK YOU to Mrs. Jamison, without you I don’t think Bryson would be the student he is today! You set high standards for him in 1st and 2nd grade and I know that is what he still lives up to. Your encouragement in reading has turned him into an awesome reader. So even though we don’t have you as a teacher, I will always be thankful for you in being such a strong stepping stone in Bryson’s life!!

My daughter’s experience at Colonial has surpassed my expectations. The teachers and staff have been wonderful and caring. Mrs. Ketron makes my daughter feel as special as I feel she is. I would like to offer an extension of gratitude for the teachers and staff at Colonial Elementary! This school has offered so many good ideas that have kept parents and students in touch with their curriculum. Mrs. Riggs’ emails and text messages to home and phones are wonderful constant updates to school events (even those late night texts that I don’t mind waking to, considering Mrs. Riggs is still hard at work sending them.) Colonial’s teacher’s folders that come home with the kids every night to keep us posted are great, day planners, students’ classroom finance education/incorporation too. Extra and special needs education is working wonders. School counselors whom help kids through tough family times are GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thank you all sincerely.
