Photos: Botetourt American All Star Team
Here are a couple pictures of the Botetourt American All Star Team. The team of boys ages 9-10 were the champions of the Division 7 Sub-district tournament which was played at Green Hill Park in Salem last week.
Botetourt American went 5 and 1 and won the tournament on Tuesday night after playing a double header – first defeating Salem 16-1 (in 4 innings) and then beating Vinton 12-2 (in 5 innings). The team now moves on the play in the District tournament at Moyer field.
The 12 players are from Blue Ridge (9) and Cloverdale (3) (in alphabetical order) Grayson Bond, Danny Brajdic, Jordan Brake, Jack Buchanan, Christopher Cochran, Bryton Dalglish, Dakota Duke, Caleb Franklin, Kyle French, Tyler Hodnett, Stephen McBride, and Jarrett, Wilson Coaches R.D. Wright, Dwayne Duke, Dave Brajdic
