Botetourt County’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism is proud to announce the promotion of Angie Crawford to the position of Program Coordinator. She has worked as the interim Program Coordinator since April.

Mrs. Crawford has been employed by the Parks, Recreation and Tourism department for 9 years, during which time she earned numerous certifications. She has an Associate’s Degree from National College in Salem.

She will be coordinating recreation programs, and special events for the department such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Fishing Carnival, spring and fall Family Fun Festivals, as well as sports camps and many other current and new programs. She will also directly oversee the James River High School Community Fitness Center and the County’s Senior Citizen Van Service.
