Junior Sisk and Rambler’s Choice headlined the benefit for Shirley Niday held at Lord Botetourt High School auditorium on Saturday, November 28. Niday is suffering from re- occurring breast cancer and travels to Johns Hopkins Medical Center near Baltimore to receive treatment. Several hundred people turned out for the benefit organized by WE Dunbar, Tommy Jordan, and Mark Dunbar of Fincastle. Lost and Found of Ferrum produced lively bluegrass music as the lead -in group for Sisk. The band features Allen Mills, Scottie Sparks, Ronald Smith and Scott Napier.
Junior Sisk said they plan to be on the road 100 days this coming year. Sisk and his band have five Grammy nominations. His music is described as being in the late Carter Stanley style on his website. http://www.juniorsiskandramblerschoice.com/
