Photos: Ruggles open Country Crafters at Troutville home
Earl and Linda Ruggles at Mini Blessings Farm have been members of the Botetourt Farm Families for a couple of years. They have been selling farm raised products at Ikenberrys throughout the Spring and Summer. They also travel to Craft festivals to sell homemade items created by Linda. Two weeks ago they opened Country Creations, a shop in the basement of their Troutville home.
They have homemade and canned goods as well as loads of cute snowmen, wreaths and other decor for sale. Earl finished off a kitchen area along side the show room so now Linda is all set for her cooking and creating that feature homemade bread, canned fruits and veggies and sauces. They have local honey on the shelf as well!
The shop is located about a mile up Sunset Ave; turn by the firehouse and drive to Golden Drive turn right 15 Winesap Way drive to the end and make a left. Go through the garage into the shop, (after you park!) The shop is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8-4.

Dear Cathy,
Thank you so much for the lovely write up and the pictures. Earl and I appreciate you so much. However, there was a “tiny mixup”. Our name is “Country Crafters”, and I have been telling folks we are open from 8:00 till 4:00. (however, with there are times that 10:00 would be better) ha ha ha
I just wanted to bring this to your attention, so if there would be a way of changing it before it went in the paper you could. Thank you for all you do for the community. Sincerely, Earl and Linda Ruggles
