Photo: 5th Graders proudly represent Troutville Elementary at County 4-H Competition
On Friday, March 26, seven Troutville Elementary School 5th graders participated in the County-Wide 4-H Presentation/Speech Contest held at Read Mountain Middle School. The students were selected from among their peers during in-school presentations to represent their school in the county contest. They all made wonderful presentations and earned high marks for their efforts. Rachel Bray, Ethan Humbert, Lindsay Woldman, Morgan Ratcliffe, and Matthew Whitely received blue ribbons; and Eric Reynolds and Maranda Switzer earned red ribbons. The five blue ribbon winners also were named Champions in their respective areas and will move on to the Northwest District contest in Rockbridge County in late April.
Good luck to those moving on and congratulations to all our students…we are so proud of you!
