Attic Productions to perform “Angel Street” starting May 13

“Angel Street”, a  Full Length Victorian Thriller will be the next play presented by Attic Productions D. Geraldine Lawson Center for the Performing Arts.  It was written by Patrick Hamilton and is being directed by Katrina Yancey.

Show dates: May 13, 14, 15 & 20, 21, 22 at 7:30PM with Saturday matinees at 2:30 PM

Ticket Prices: $10 Seniors/Students; $12 Adults;  Groups of 10 or more tickets are $9 each.  Reservations are advised and may be made by calling 540-473-1001.  Ticket Office hours start May 3,. and will be Monday and Wednesdays 3-7 PM and Saturday s 10AM -2PM.

Play synopsis:
A Broadway hit first produced in London under the title Gaslight and filmed twice, Angel Street tells the story of the Manninghams who live on Angel Street in the 19th century. Mr. Manningham, a cruel, manipulative husband is slowly torturing his gentle, devoted wife Bella, into insanity to suit his own needs. Will he succeed or will Inspector Rough of Scotland Yard stop him and in the process prove Mr. Manningham to be guilty of other crimes? The secret of the dimming gaslight and the mystery of the hidden rubies will captivate all. Join us for a thrilling evening of suspense.
