February’s Full “Snow” Moon–Not!
- The Full Moon of February is called the Snow moon.
With the exception of snow flurries yesterday February 8, Botetourt County has been practically snow free. The February full moon is called the “Snow” moon. On Tuesday night it rose over Fincastle to no “Snow” avail! January has been declared one of the five warmest in the US. So far, February has been about equal in warm and cold days.
