Old Mill plans to re-open under new ownership on Feb. 8
The DeMarco’s, David, Karen and Greg, have been busy sprucing up the Old Mill in Fincastle and will bring along some new ideas and keep some that worked well. Last month the Craig County family purchased the establishment from Wayne and Shirley Niday.
The gasoline will not have alcohol in it just as before. They will continue to sell fishing and hunting licenses.
A deli restaurant and the typical foods, snacks and beverages of a convenience store will be featured. New menu items include a steam bar with quick take out foods like chicken nuggets, mac and cheese and hot dogs. The menu continues much the same with some additions added in as the month progresses.
“We hope to have everything in place for our opening goal of Feb. 8, and that’s next week,” said David DeMarco.
