Signs of support for “Wish You Well”

One of many signs around Botetourt today welcoming scouting crew for movie location.

You may have noticed that many of the changeable signs around Botetourt today have a similar message: “Botetourt Wishes You Well.” Or a variation, “Botetourt Welcomes Wish You Well.”

This one is in front of the Fincastle firehouse; we’ve seen others at The Pet Place in Daleville and the VFW post at Trinity, and there are likely others around.

These are in honor of the crew from an upcoming movie — “Wish You Well,” based on the book by David Baldacci — that is in Botetourt today scouting potential shooting locations.

We had a previous post about ways and places you can show your support today — along with some background on the film.

We’ll add one more way to show support. If you can’t make it to any of the location mentioned in the post above, you can leave a comment below telling the movie crew why they should shoot their film in Botetourt County.
