The music students of Mike Lee will perform in a recital on Sunday, April 15th. at The Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Theatre. The 1st Show with the young ones will be at 2:30. The teens and adults will perform at 6pm.. There will be around 50 students sharing their talent on guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass guitar and vocals. David Austin will be a special guest with a new song that he has written. Charissa Sangster will also be a special guest sharing her musical journey with a testimonial and a song as she has had the longest tenure with Mike.
Each year Mike has a different student sing the National Anthem, this year that will be Daniel Holter for the 2:30 Show and Emily Edwards for the 6:00 Show. Food will be sold by The South Dakota Missions Team from Mill Creek Baptist Church and surrounding communities. Please come after Church and make a day of it. John Lawson does a great job with the sound and the Theater is a lovely place for some of Botetourt’s finest to show off their musical talents. The Show is free although donations are accepted.
