Photos: ‘Hunger Games’ movie-launch party at Lord Botetourt High School

On Thursday, March 22, the LBHS Library hosted a Hunger Games Movie Launch Party. Students were invited to eat their lunch in the library while they watched the movie trailers. Students also competed against each other in a trivia contest, and were treated to a Hunger Games-inspired dessert — camouflage-decorated cupcakes from the “Mellark’s Bakery.” Students won Hunger Games merchandise as the prizes for the contest and for the door prizes.

Seventy-two students, several teachers, and Mrs. Womack attended the event.
