Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club to host annual auction Saturday, April 28

Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club will host its Annual Club Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Roanoke Valley Red Cross Chapter Building, 352 Church Ave., Roanoke. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., and the auction starts at 9 a.m.

Admission is free, and anyone can bring Ham radio items for consignment sale and should be there between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. to check in their items for sale. This year we have estate sale equipment. All items sold on consignment will be subject to 10 percent of the sale price going to the Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club. All donations are very much appreciated and welcome. Anything that is brought to sell that is not sold must be carried home. Nothing can be left at the Red Cross Building. As always, thank you for your help in raising funds for the Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club.

Good food will be available at reasonable prices, and again admission is free.
