National Day of Prayer held around Botetourt

58 years of National Day of Prayer and it is held the first Thursday of May.  Praying for the leaders and the country in general, is part of noon time activity. All around Botetourt County people met under the flag pole or under shelter from the hot sun. Rev. Terry Johnson of Troutville Church of the Brethren led 32  in prayer at the Troutville Park while in Fincastle Rev. Sandra McMillen of Fincastle United Methodist Church prayed with 15 at the library flag pole.
