2012 NCCAA Softball National Championships

Botetourt County, VA – The National Christian College Athletic Association has arrived to play at the Botetourt Sports Complex. The selection committee seeded teams Saturday night from eight regions across the United States. Those teams have begun arriving and include (with seed #):

#1 California Baptist University Lancers from Riverside, California

#2 Cedarville University Yellow Jackets from Cedarville, Ohio

#3 North Greenville University Crusaders from Tigerville, South Carolina

#4 Trevecca Nazarene University from Nashville, Tennessee

#5 Judson University Eagles from Elgin, Illinois

#6 Campbellsville University Tigers from Campbellsville, Kentucky

#7 Emmanuel College Lions from Franklin Springs, Georgia

#8 Covenant College Scots from Lookout Mountain, Georgia

An overview of this weeks schedule includes:

Wednesday May 9 – Community Christian Service Projects followed by Pre-Tournament Banquet

Thursday May 10 –First through Third round games from 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM. “Parade of Athletes” Opening Ceremonies will occur at approximately 2:30 PM

Friday May 11 – Fourth through Sixth round games from noon – 6:00 PM.

Saturday May 12 – Last Semi-final at 10:00 AM followed by The National Championship Game at Noon. “If Necessary” game could occur at 2:00 PM.

Admission: Adults $6, Twelve and Under $3, Botetourt Residents and those Five and Under are Free.
