Videos:”Fire in the hole!” FBI blows up two cars at the shooting range!
Here are some short videos of the FBI finale from today’s May 30th Chemical WMD Workshop held at Greenfield Training and Education Center. The entourage traveled to the BCSD Shooting Range (the old landfill site) for some demonstrations of explosives made from common materials. Multiple FBI and State Police performed the demos. We had a previous post. The chief organizer was Agent Doug Fielder out of the Richmond Office.
We won’t tell you what they blew these three items up with– two cars and a desk. The big scare? Most of the explosives are made from easily found materials– the point of the workshop to make EMS, Law Enforcements and Retailers aware of what could be homegrown or international terrorists and how they can be supplied. Lt. Jeff Stritesky, Crime Prevention specialist for Botetourt County Sheriff’s Department said, ” The FBI had 106 register for the class and they were divided about 30 per cent from each group, plus some teachers and assorted others.”
