“Musical Conversation” series at Trinity UMC in Buchanan to feature musician John Stump on June 23
“A Musical Conversation” with John Stump will take place on Saturday, June 23, at 7 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, located on Main Street in Buchanan as part of the church’s new series called “A Musical Conversation.”
The evening will also feature a general music lesson from David Austin and Keith Wood. Come prepared to learn and to be entertained. The event is free. Refreshments will be provided.
Stump grew up in Botetourt County and has played trumpet with several bands and ensembles, including a recent endeavor with the Washington & Lee University Choir.
The series will feature a variety of musicians who, along with a performance, will share stories, knowledge, and interesting facts about their own, unique, musical background. Each guest will offer a different perspective and emphasis to the many aspects of music in a casual, relaxed setting.
