Brownie Troop #958 in Buchanan recently participated in the Great Girl Scout Hike. Girl Scouts nationwide are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting by hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail. Troop #958 chose to start their hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Harvey’s Knob Overlook. They hiked about 2.5 miles.
