On Saturday, May 5, Brownie Troop #958 spent the day at Douthat State Park at the annual Girl Scout Day. The girls listened to folk tales, saw a blacksmithing demonstration, went on a hike, learned about trees in the park, identified creek critters, and molded animal tracks to take home. They look forward to attending the event next year.
