The Botetourt American Legion senior baseball team played New River Valley on Wednesday night at Lord Botetourt High School. Here’s a photo gallery.
The team is composed of players from Lord Botetourt and James River high schools and recent graduates.
On Saturday, the junior team has a doubleheader against Patrick County during the day at Lord Botetourt, while the seniors play Danville at James River at 6 p.m.
UPDATE: The junior team doubleheader on Saturday has been converted to a single game, because of the heat. Starts at 6 p.m. at Lord Botetourt.
UPDATE, Saturday: Both games postponed due to the storm.
