Stoplight coming to East Park Center on Cloverdale Road
A new stoplight has been in the works for a while as the county has proceeded to place a stoplight at the entry of East Park Center on US 220 Alternate/ Cloverdale Road. The addition will help Read Mountain EMS to safely access the road as they will have signal control on the lights in emergency response.
Assistant County Administrator Spencer Suter made the presentation during the time allotted VDOT’s Dan Collins as it is a traffic issue. Collins said the stop light project will be permitted on Wed. June 27.
The VDOT cost of the project is estimated to be over $300,000.
