Treva Lane Campbell killed this wild turkey in Spring Gobbler Season

Treva Layne Campbell bagged this big Gobbler during Spring Gobbler season.

While hunting on her property in Eagle Rock, VA, Treva Layne Campbell killed this big Gobbler.  She said, ” The gobbler flew down from the tree top where he was roosted all night and landed at the foot of the tree.” 10 seconds later she bagged the bird with a 50. 5 yard shot using  a 1300 short turkey shotgun and Winchester 3 ” #5 shells.” He was a lone bird.  The beard was 10 inches long, 1 inch spurs and the Gobbler weighed in at 19 lbs. Campbell is a member of the National Rifle Association and a NRA Endowed member.
