Want to see President Barak Obama? He’ll be in Roanoke Friday night July 13 at Fire Station No. 1 in downtown Roanoke.. The process is not streamlined with an Internet print option like the Romney campaign, but there are three walk-up sites to get the tickets beginning today after 5 p.m. Over 5,500 Botetourt Countians voted for Obama in 2008.
How to get the tickets.
“Tickets are required for the event and will be made available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 5 p.m. today. Tickets can be obtained in Roanoke at Fire Station No. 1 and at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26 office at 6303 Peters Creek Road. Tickets also are available at the Obama campaign’s Blacksburg office at 712 N. Main St., behind New River Heating & Air.” — Mike Sluss July 11, The Roanoke Times.
