Huge Hibiscus grow in the Pie Lady’s yard

Not only does Lisa Helmick of Daleville (also known as “The Pie Lady”) make scrumptious chicken pies and chocolate pecan pies, but she grows tropical worthy Hibiscus plants. Why they are pie plate size!

She said, “We purchased these plants  a few years ago at Country Corner. They grow and bloom from April through November.” Two of Helmick’s children, Rachel and Sara were kind enough to pose with the Hibiscus flowers!

    I have a pink hibiscus, but it’s never bloomed like this one. I just love this color!!!

    Nice! My hibiscus just bloomed this week too, but not nearly as nicely as yours since the deer are snacking on mine. Great photo!
