Landfill will have special hours on July 4th and Saturday for storm clean-up

As a result of the storm related damage and associated power outages, the Botetourt County Landfill offers the following information about extended operating hours:

Storm related woody debris and spoiled foods will continue to be accepted at no charge from County residents.

NOTE: Please do not mix household trash with woody waste

Operation hours for the week of July 03, 2012 – July 07, 2012 will be:

o Tues 07/03: Normal operating hours – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

o Wed 07/04: Extended holiday operating hours – 8:00 am – 12:00 Noon

o Thurs 07/05: Normal operating hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

o Fri 07/06: Normal operating hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

o Sat 07/07: Extended operating hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
