UPDATE 6 PM, 7/1: A cluster of storms on the Ohio/Indiana line — possibly connecting to additional storms developing elsewhere in the Ohio Valley — may affect our region by late evening or overnight, generally 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect as far southeast as Charleston WVa now, and may be extended farther southeast later.
