Power outage is worst in the Buchanan area
The governor’s office has distributed this map to show where power outages are concentrated in Virginia. Based on this, the Buchanan-Arcadia area appears to the be the worst-hit in Botetourt County, with 80 to 100 percent still without power.

The governor’s office map was updated today. Now look at this list that shows how many people have been restored in each region:

Notice that our region has had the least percentage of people by far restored? Wonder why?
I don’t think we were hardest hit – just more important to restore the DC area than anywhere else.
