Power outage is worst in the Buchanan area
The governor’s office has distributed this map to show where power outages are concentrated in Virginia. Based on this, the Buchanan-Arcadia area appears to the be the worst-hit in Botetourt County, with 80 to 100 percent still without power.

Notice that our region has had the least percentage of people by far restored? Wonder why?
I don’t think we were hardest hit – just more important to restore the DC area than anywhere else.
